Maximed has developed a scientific office to provide training courses at all levels to exceed clients' needs and expectations.  These are available as open and in-house options and tailored to individual events.
In addition, Maximed aims to provide professional consultancy services in a variety of issues related to our scope of work. The main areas of expertise include infection prevention and control and food safety management system.

With diverse and in-depth experience, our scientific consultant, Dr. Mohamad Ibrahim, provides expert advice, technical support and conducts training seminars/workshops to our clients.

Dr. Mohamad Ibrahim - Biography:

Dr. Mohamad Ibrahim, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil., PhD., PGCert has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Over the years, he has developed expertise in areas of Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality management, Occupational Health, Food Safety, and Infection Control.

Dr. Ibrahim received his Masters of Science in Clinical Microbiology, with an emphasis on infection control, from the University of Balamand. He then earned a Masters degree and a PhD in Health Sciences with a “Change Management” concentration from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. Dr. Ibrahim has attended extensive national and international trainings and has received academic and professional postgraduate certifications from reputable institutions (WHO, Harvard Medical School, and others) in areas of patient safety, quality systems, infection control, informatics, and leadership in healthcare settings.

Dr. Ibrahim is active member in many international organizations including NAHQ (National Association for Healthcare Quality), AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science), AIHQ (American Institute of Healthcare Quality), APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology), ASM (American Society for Microbiology), ESCMID (European Society of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases), NPSF (National Patient Safety Foundation), and ASHRM (American Society for Healthcare Risk Management).

Dr. Ibrahim is currently part of the management team at Labib Medical Center, in Saida. He holds the position of Patient Safety, Risk Management, and Infection Control Manager. As a senior manager, he has responsibility for overseeing and providing innovative consultative services to improve and enhance risk management and patient safety programs with emphasis on risk identification, assessment, analysis and prevention as well as risk management and patient safety education. In addition, Dr. Ibrahim works as university lecturer.
